Far Horizon Eco Lodge is situated on the beautiful Lower South Coast of Kwazulu Natal, in the village of Banners Rest, 1.5km inland of Port Edward which is commonly known as the gateway to the Eastern Cape.The lodge is located on the main road leading to the old point , and is close to the Red Desert , Umthamvuna Nature Reserves, so if you are a guest who enjoys tranquility in a farm setting, Far Horizon Lodge is the place to stay. Our apartments are spacious, comfortably furnished, with a self-catering or B&B option available. Swimming pool and outdoor catering facilities, ideal for company functions, weddings and outdoor events. Swimming pool, bar facilities, restaurant (open in season), large gardens, and close to Port edward, but out of the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect holiday destination. Let us spoil you.

Great place by

Had a very nice stay at Far Horizon Eco Lodge. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Only problem we experienced was inconsiderate guests who were loud and rowdy. Other than that it's a great place to stay. Thank you
