FIGTREE LANE LODGE REVIEWS (50 %) Not what we were expecting by Noelle Jacobsen, South Africa Monday, 23 July 2012 An AA rating of 4 stars was not pleasant - there were issues with light fittings that weren't working before we got there and it was an issue to get it fixed but were given a little lamp which alas did not provide sufficient light. The bedding was torn and shower head was dismal and the TV signal was terrible. Lots of dirty finger marks on walls and doors, with cobwebs in the shower and under the basin, which was brought to managements attention but was not correcter by our departure. Tiles were missing in the kitchen and "it was the previous people had destroyed them". Only a bread knife was available for sharp cutting. The kettle was dirty and grubby. For the price we paid, it was not a good experience. Next week we will be going down the road to a Protea Lodge for two weeks. Lovely stay over by Nomcebo Mkhize, South Africa Monday, 28 November 2016 Nice quick stay over in Figtree lane, the area outside is quite lovely and spacious. Rooms inside are a bit outdated but overall a nice place to sleep over with breakfast Great stay by Gugulethu Zwane 04 April 2018 My daughter and I had a great stay. I can recommend the Lodge to others. I had an issue though with breakfast being so early even on weekends. Who does breakfast before 8am on a weekend or holiday. That is a deal breaker for me. Also can the breakfast have more variety including plain yoghurt. Otherwise everything else was ok. Staff was friendly too. FIGTREE LANE LODGE LOCATION
