Flat 59 The Bridge Holiday Resort

Flat 59 is a 5 sleeper ground-floor unit situated at the popular Bridge Holiday Resort, in St Lucia. The apartment has one bedroom that has a double bed, a smaller room that has two bunk beds and a sleeper couch in the lounge. Linen and towels(basic) are provided. It accommodates up to three adults and two children. It features an open-plan fully equipped kitchen with a four-seater breakfast area and a comfortable lounge with a flat-screen television. The unit has an air-conditioner in lounge, fans in all the rooms. However, the air conditioner cools the entire unit. The kitchen has a fridge, chest freezer, kettle, microwave, toaster , hob and oven. Crockery and cutlery is provided. Laundry facilities are available. Please note that there is an additional cleaning charge (R100) per day if this is required.

St Lucia is a vibrant community with a number of service providers ranging from a doctor, dentist, salon, beautician as well yoga classes within 1km of Flat 59.

A service provider will collect your laundry, wash iron and deliver (Additional charge).

The unit does not have a view of the estuary but one easily walk to the estuary viewing deck. However, should you wish to go on a tour, why not book with the local tour operators.

The abode also offers guests a communal swimming pool and braai facilities, squash and a tennis court, a jetty onto the estuary, parking in front of the unit and 24-hour security on-premises. Guests can revel in an abundance of great attractions in and around the area, such as the Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park, the Isiphaphalazi Butterfly Dome, and the Lake Sibaya. Local shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

About Hluhluwe Game Reserve
Established in 1895, wildlife viewing has always been the prime attraction at Hluhluwe, close range sightings made all the more exciting with viewing hides conveniently overlooking waterholes.

Today the reserve is part of the greater Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park covering 96 000 hectares and containing an immense diversity of animals, birds and plant life.

Home once more to the Big Five, Hluhluwe Game Reserve is also the headquarters of Operation Rhino and is internationally renowned for its white rhino conservation.

Hluhluwe makes up the northern section of the park, characterised by undulating hills of savannah vegetation and woodlands. Along with game-viewing drives, there are two self-guided drive routes which give insight into the management and natural history of the park. Highly recommended are the early morning and late afternoon guided walks.
Area Information
iSimangaliso Wetland Park (previously known as the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park) is situated on the east coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, about 275 kilometres north of Durban. It is South Africa's third-largest protected area, spanning 280 km of coastline, from the Mozambican border in the north to Mapelane south of the Lake St. Lucia estuary, and made up of around 3,280 km2 of natural ecosystems, managed by the iSimangaliso Authority.
