The bedrooms have a range of sleeping arrangements with either twin or double beds, as well as two units with two beds which are ideal for parents and smaller children. Each of the rooms has an en-suite bathroom and adequate heating for the chilly winter evenings. The rates include dinner, bed and breakfast and guests are treated to tasty, traditional farm cuisine. The lodge has two lounge areas with roaring fireplaces as well as the Cattleman's Bar. When wanting to spend time outside, the traditional boma is the ideal spot for a bush braai. Francolin Creek forms part of the Riemland Wine Route and wines can be tasted and enjoyed in their wine cellar. Game drives can be arranged where guests can view a variety of game species. As the name suggests, the area is abundant in bird life and ideal for bird lovers. The lodge offers horseback trails and both bass and carp can be caught in the lake on the farm.
