The cottage was nicely equipped and the fireplace was excellent during the cold nights. The fishing was good and I enjoyed having my "own" farmdog, boel, tag along on hikes and whilst fishing. The breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere helped us relaxe and it felt like a second home to us. Definitely need a high clearance vehicle and take it slow, it is a beautiful drive any ways.
The cottage is rustic and very well equipped and clean - spending the chilly evenings in front of the crackling fireplace was pure heaven.
Our furry kids had an absolute ball exploring around the cottage.
Wish the weekend was a few days longer, the trip was well worth it. The hospitality was great and Andre was more than happy to share his wealth of knowledge about fly fishing. Their 2 little dogs provided company for our 2 dogs and they got along well.
