Gariep Country Lodge offers comfortable accommodation situated in the town of Prieska, close to the Orange River. It is the ideal stopover en-route to Namibia, Kgalagadi or to the rest of the Cape Province.

The eight rooms are each equipped with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, tea and coffee-making facilities, TVs with DStv and electric blankets for winter.

We have lovely shaded trees, a charming garden and safe parking available. Breakfast is served in the cosy dining area and other meals can be arranged on request. There are also braai facilities and a fully equipped kitchen available for the self-catering guests.

The welcome and accommodation was good. The room and bathroom was clean and well presented. The room was however very cold with little relief from the aircon which was the heater!

We, a family of 4, recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gariep Country Lodge in Prieska. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and clean
 Our hosts were very hospitable and attentive. And to top it off, we had an excellent breakfast the next day. This accommodation provided all that we needed and was great value for money. I  would strongly recommend the Gariep Country Lodge.
