GeoLodge RainForest Lodge

The RainForest Lodge, Mabira, a comfortable and relaxing lodge providing all the services that GeoLodges Uganda has become known for. It is the third lodge in the company's portfolio of lodges, which opened in 2007. The lodge has been built using local, on-site materials to create a stunningly unique atmosphere for visitors to truly appreciate the beauty and magnificence of the Mabira Forest Reserve.Boasting over 100 species each of birds, butterflies and insects, three primate species and a crucial part of the reserves biodiversity, the RainForest Lodge exhibits the peace and calm of an equatorial hardwood rainforest in the heart of Uganda.There are seven double rooms and five twin rooms. The rooms are en suite, with luggage racks, comfortable seating areas, balconies overlooking the forest, and windows that provide a 180-degree views of the forest. The temperatures in the rooms are controlled by natural climate of the forest.It is perfect for weddings, receptions, corporate retreats and is located on 60 km from Kampala. The lodge has also served as a movie set, music video production, a concert venue and a yoga studio.
