Nice comfy room with everything one needs. Great breakfast, warm hospitality and prompt service of excellent quality impressed me. Best value for money. One cannot get this anywhere else. I decided to take my mother and 2 year old daughter along to give them a bit of a break from the normal so they also were staying with me in room 201. As I was away for the course of the day, I was glad to hear that they comfortable and well taken care of. Safety and access control were vital and Poppy and Billy also showed us the various keys and control systems. During the day mom and daughter had access to the entertainment areas over and above the room and comfy common areas. This was also important for me as I needed comfy quiet areas to review the course material.the lounge area upstairs also was readily available with a ice h20 filter which I used often and loved. I also used the virgin active down the road less than 800m away which meant I could fit in more during the hrs not at the course and many people jogged down Annette van zyl rd in the morning and evening. I also have a gluten intolerance and poppy and her team made sure that I was catered for during breakfast(which was served at 7am-8:30 which suited my busy days there perfectly). Breakfast was always scrumptious. The first poppy and billy were always kind and helpful from start to end of my stay. Will definitely recommend to those visiting Pretoria. Great Hosts by Jeanette Liebenberg, Australia 10 November 2014 We stayed at Glen Marion for four nights and found hosts Billy and Poppy very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were the best we have experienced on our travels; we broke with tradition and asked if we could have breakfast outside near the pool and a table was set up for us each morning. The huge bed was very comfortable, water in the shower was very hot and plentiful. The room is ideal for overnight stays but a little small for an extended stay, however the kindness of our hosts more than compensated and we highly recommend Glen Marion Guest House.
