Goudhoek farmstay is situated on a farm overlooking beautiful green hills, nestled between the Wakkerstroom Mountains. We offer two comfortable rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Goudhoek is only 9km outside of the town of Wakkerstroom.

A once sleepy village, Wakkerstroom is set in a peaceful valley surrounded by panoramic views. An ever-growing stream of visitors and holiday-makers who want to get away from the city life are coming to Wakkerstroom to indulge in the many exciting activities on offer.

There are a number of restaurants, pubs, shops and salons, as well as a museum and many historical buildings to cater for the more culturally inclined. Wakkerstroom also offers the bird lovers the best of South Africa's grassland endemic and other grass-loving bird species.
