Green Haven is located in the heart of the Garden Route, halfway between Wilderness and Sedgefield. It is the ideal base from which to explore the area.

The guest house is surrounded by mountains and lush forests, in the hills outside Wilderness. All our units are self-catering and are fully equipped. There are braai facilities outside each unit.

Guests can relax in the spacious entertainment area with a bar, indoor braai facilities and comfortable seats. It can also be used for small functions. There is also a large wooden deck with outdoor furniture, ideal for sundowners.

Accommodation and location by

Loved the pet friendly environment and location. Television reception was terrible. Can be improved. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Made our stay very pleasant

Three nights in Wilderness by

Green Haven was very suitable for our needs. We enjoyed the lush garden setting of the self catering unit. Its close to the beaches for an early morning stroll or to watch the sunset.

The advertising is misleading. The "sitting on balcony looking over the view" was more - looking over a roof & chimney. Our room did not look as nice as the one in the photo, although the bed was comfortable. The unit needs a facelift, its a bit "old" & musty. The couch was uncomfortable to sit on. The one pot I used while there was not properly cleaned (previous guests?); the kettle was scummy & we tried to clean it, but it had a chalky residue floating in the water & the microwave was dirty. It was convenient to George, Wilderness, Sedgefield & Knysna & close to the main road. Arrival & departure were easy & unfussy & Marian is helpful & friendly. It was quiet & peaceful.

really enjoyed our stay with Ben and Marian. they were most helpful and made our stay memorable. we'll certainly be back!

Warm welcome! by

We loved the warm welcome of the owner and her great empathy with my broken arm. She had us moved into another room within seconds after hearing about it so I could have a bath instead of a shower. And the eet- sum- more cookies and all the hot drinks to choose from made us feel at home. Thank you so much.
