Groenrivier is a wonderful country venue set in the heart of one of the Cape's most beautiful valleys, Riebeeck West. Here you will experience a rustic atmosphere, views of the valley and the mountains, an unhurried pace and country hospitality seldom found in the city.
We offer six tastefully appointed en-suite rooms including the Bridal Suite, leading onto our tranquil gardens. The Bridal Suite is private and separate with fine attention to detail. Guests can relax in front of the cosy fireplace and soak up the serenity of the atmosphere.
Groenrivier offers a range of services tailored to your needs. It is an idyllic setting for weddings, dinner dances, end-of-year functions or any other special event. We have three venues which are suitable for weddings or corporate functions. The Groenrivier Function Centre is our charming jewel with panoramic views of the valley and caters for up to 200 guests. The rustic ambience of Die Ou Kelder caters for up to 60 guests and the most recently refurbished De Oude Stal caters for up to 80 guests with wonderful views of Kasteelberg.
