Each of the 14 en-suite rock chalets and two family chalets are built from the local rocks that occur around Grootberg. The bedrooms have either twin or double beds and en-suite bathrooms with showers and separate toilets. Rooms are adorned with local materials, all part of the décor. Sliding doors lead to small, private decks with two chairs each from where the endless views over Klip Valley Vlei can be enjoyed.
The main building is through a long, arched hallway, leading into the lounge area where guests can relax. There is also a small bar and and classic wooden tables and chairs for dining. Tea and coffee is served daily. The swimming pool is right outside the main area.
12 000 hectares have been set aside by the Khoadi/Hoas community for conservation and tourism and it is through this pristine wilderness that you meander either on foot or by vehicle to encounter the inhabitants of this remote biosphere.
