Gumtree Cottage

Gumtree Cottage is a quaint, cosy self-catering cottage tucked away on a large 2,200 square metre plot overlooking Napier, with wonderful views north across the farmland all the way to the Sonderend mountains and west into the Overberg sunsets.

It is fully equipped, very comfortable, and sleeps up to six people. The unit comprises a lounge, TV nook, a large kitchen with a wood-burning donkey for winter warmth, two double bedrooms, a walk-through kiddies' bedroom with two single beds, a full bathroom with old-fashioned bath, a second bathroom with shower and toilet, and three covered patios. The main patio looks north and west, there's a back porch which is protected from the north-westerlies, and a small Juliet balcony facing north where two people can sit and soak up the winter sun.

Features include an entertainment area under the gum tree, an olive orchard, and some surprises in the garden. There's also a Weber barbecue for outside cooking and seats and a table under the gum tree. Gumtree Cottage is located close enough to Main Street to park your car and walk almost everywhere in the village. It all adds up to a perfect getaway to rest, relax, and take in the charm of Napier.
