Haden's Rest: good start for Kruger by

We were satisfied with this B&B Especially the breakfast, that we could take to Kruger, was very good.

Convenient by

Nice, spacious, clean rooms, and good breakfasts! Haden's Rest is centrally located and has the modern conveniences in the room (fridge, hairdryer, aircondioner, fan, etc). So, if you're looking for rustic, this is not the place. But it suited us perfectly. Thanks to all at Haden's Rest for making our stay pleasant.

Not impressed by

I was looking forward to our stay at Hadens Rest as it had been recommended by my friend. Especially having a pool for our kids right by the room . I asked for a specific family room and the manager emailed me 2 weeks prior to confirm the unit number I requested. However on arrival we were told they had a large group booking so decided to put us in their other guesthouse in the next street! Without asking or notifying us. I was not happy as the other property did not have a pool. Although we were welcome to use Hadens Rest pool, it was quite inconvenient as I have 2 children and a newborn and I was there without my husband . Therefore making it too hot for my newborn to be outside while I watched the children . When I explained my situation to the manager she simply said she could not turn down the money! Which is a pity as we come to nelspruit monthly so in fact she has lost a regular customer. So my review is tainted by this experience and careless attitude I was given . However, our room was clean and sufficient for the purpose.

Appreciated good quality cotton bed linen and proximity to hospital and shopping. Large airy room with own deck. An easy chair or sun lounger would be nice to have.
