Fantastic apartment - but building work ruined stay by

Everything about this actual apartment was fantastic. However for this particular week - we were not informed that the swimming pool was closed due to drought in Cape Town. Although not their fault - warning would have been good to help us plan better. The works in the area - that had been mentioned - were much more than that! 40 ft across from our balcony starting as early as 6 am and going on until 6 pm meant the apartment this week was totally unusable! This completely affected our stay. Many builders and much machinery made the balcony and apartment unusable - keeping curtains closed and staying out as much as possible! We have found dealing with safarinow helpful throughout - very polite and keen to help. We did speak to them about this. They tried to resolve quickly and did gave us a night free - which is better than nothing and we said thank you - but this in no way reflects how badly this affected our week! Would be much more careful to check just how much building works will affect stay if I were to recommend this.
