Hidden Inn

The Hidden Inn is situated in Pietermaritzburg, the sleepy hollow of Kwa-Zulu-Natal. It is an oasis away from city life where tranquility awaits you.

Hidden Inn boasts three B&B units all which have en-suite bathrooms for your comfort. There is a lounge area and a kitchenette, that is equipped with a bar fridge, a microwave, a kettle, and a toaster, all this to make your stay easy. We offer our guests access to free Wi-Fi and DS-tv/Satellite TV in their units. Please note breakfast is included in the rate.


Guests can make use of the entertainment area, swimming pool, and braai area. The Hidden Inn is situated two km from the Pietermaritzburg National Botanical gardens which is a must-see for bird, plant and nature lovers. The scenic hikes will leave you breathless.

There are lovely restaurants nearby and coffee shops. Supermarkets and a delivery company that we use which brings you a delightful meal straight to your unit, with an additional fee.

The vibrant history of Pietermaritzburg for those that are interested in visiting museums. We have the Natal Museum which is five km from us as well as the Arts and Voortrekker museum for those interested in South Africa's unique and fascinating history.

The Midlands Meander is also a short drive away where you can experience a multitude of activities including wine tasting, visiting the Nelson Mandela capture site and the Belgium chocolate factory, is a must to see.
