Honeylocust is a modern, luxury guesthouse in the historic town of Colesberg in the Upper-Karoo. Perfectly situated just off the N1 highway, it's the ideal halfway break on a long journey between the North and the South.

Our guesthouse was established in September 2009 and offers six rooms. A further nine rooms were added and opened to the public on 1 October 2011.

The contemporary design rooms are spacious and equipped with plasma TVs with DStv, air-conditioners which is a must for the Karoo and a bar fridge. Each of our suites leads out onto its own private, furnished patio; the perfect setting to relax after a long journey.

We loved everything about our stay at Honeylocust: Ideal position close to exit and entrance point in Colesberg, good security, enough safe parking, pristine and perfectly manicured gardens and beautiful accommodation with crisp linen, pleasing and tasteful furnishings. The pool is small but refreshing, service prompt, very friendly and discreet and supper and dinner excellent. The lamb chops we ordered were cooked to perfection and very tasty. This is definitely a place we would recommend to our best friends and family!
