Hout Bay Mountain Retreat

High on the mountainside in beautiful Hout Bay, you'll find our cosy gem nestled amongst the fynbos. Located in a secure estate, you can go for a walk or wander around enjoying the ocean and mountain views. The 3 bedroom house is furnished with soft, calming colours that make you feel like you're on holiday as soon as you walk through the doors. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a queen sized bed, built in cupboards and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. The views from the upstairs windows are simply spectacular! The first downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and opens up onto the outside deck, providing easy access to the plunge pool and outside entertainment area. Outside there is a dining table that can comfortably seat 6 people and you can enjoy a traditional South African braai while soaking in the ambiance of the stunning valley, or enjoy some drinks while watching the sun go down. The second downstairs bedroom has a single bed and is perfect for a child or young adult. There is also a downstairs bathroom with a bath. The living and dining areas are open plan with a large kitchen just off the dining room. The dining table can seat 6 people comfortably and with easy access to the kitchen, entertaining has never been easier. After dinner, relax in the lounge on plush, comfortable couches. There is a TV with uncapped WiFi so that you can stream your favourite shows and movies. Convenient amenities include a washer, dryer, air con, pool, and toiletries are provided. The estate also has a tennis court, squash courts, a large pool next to a play area for kids and a club house that is great for entertaining a larger group of people. Please note that use of the club house needs to be booked in advance. The property is up a flight of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.
