Nestled in the peaceful Central Drakensberg, you will find Ihophe Cottage. The double-storey, thatched cottage boasts unrestricted views of Champagne Castle, Dragons Back, Cathkin Peak and Sterkhorn.
The cottage sleeps six guests in three double rooms and has a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge with a TV. You will need to bring your own DStv smartcard. Braai facilities are available.
There are some lovely hikes in the area and Bushmen caves and paintings are not far away. A falconry farm is close by with regular displays and trout fishing at the Bell Park Dam is a populqar actiity. Several good restaurants are situated in the valley, as well as a number of interesting curio shops. There are also helicopter flights available in the area. An 18-hole golf course is situated at the Sports & Racket Hotel.
The world famous Drakensberg Boys Choir is a stone's throw away; regular concerts are held on Wednesday evenings in the school auditorium during term.
