Isibankwa, 8 Glen Drive, Zinkwazi Beach

Isibankwa, 8 Glen Drive, is the perfect family holiday home, located in Zinkwazi Beach and offering guests incredible panoramic views of the bay and ocean.

This lovely unit, which is just one road back from the beach, can sleep 12 guests in total (maximum of 10 adults). It comprises five bedrooms and five bathrooms, along with two pullout beds for two small children (additional small children can be accommodated with the owner's approval).

There is even more space for two additional guests in a fully-equipped flat (including a bedroom and bath, kitchenette and lounge), at an additional cost of R1250 per night. This flat is separate from the main house, and can be rented separately.

The main bedroom , which is situated upstairs, features a double bed, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom, and its own patio. Also on this level, guests will find an open-plan living area, including a lounge, dining area, kitchen and scullery. The kitchen comes fully equipped for your self-catering holiday meals, including an oven, stove, large fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and two bar fridges. There is also a washing machine and tumble-dryer available. The patio offers guests a large table, where you can enjoy alfresco meals overlooking the ocean, and large umbrellas for shade.

Moving downstairs, you'll find a spacious open-plan TV lounge, pool room, patio and undercover braai area, which is shielded from the wind. Additionally, there are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom; the second bedroom contains a double bed, two pullout beds (for children under the age of 10 only), and an en-suite bathroom with shower.

The third bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, while the fourth bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with a bath. The final bedroom features two single beds, and an en-suite bathroom with shower. Each bedroom is equipped with a large built-in cupboard and ceiling fan, and some rooms have mosquito nets. For our guests' convenience, all linen and bath towels are provided (please bring your own beach/swimming towels).

An active DStv card and decoder is provided for entertainment, and there is also a fenced-off pool, and plenty of outdoor furniture for you to enjoy the sunshine in. There are no garages available for parking, but there are two undercover parking bays and more open, off-street parking available.

The house is serviced twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, at an additional charge (service is compulsory). For guests' peace of mind, the house is surrounded by security beams, and security support is provided by a local armed response company.
