Taking its name from the magnificent Jacaranda tree that dominates the front garden, this Cape Victorian style house is situated on a large tree-filled plot close to the center of Darling.

Around 100 years old, the property has undergone extensive renovations, sympathetically carried out in order to preserve its original character and heritage, whilst providing the modern creature comforts necessary to ensure a comfortable and secure stay.

Our guests are welcome to use the swimming pool, the sheltered stoep, and the rear courtyard where you can braai if you wish, or just relax and catch some sun. For those who require it, we have an extensive library of paperback fiction in which you are welcome to indulge in.

Our room in this delightful old house was cool and comfortable. The breakfasts were very tasty and all home-made, including the breads and marmalades. Our hosts are charming people and were most helpful in making suggestions of what to do and where to eat our evening meals.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jacaranda. The breakfasts were amazing and we left the table having eaten too much! David and Jane were very friendly and accommodating.
