Come and relax at Jampot, a nature retreat in the heart of an ancient woodland on the banks of the pristine Groot Marico River. This beautiful and private off-the-grid hideaway is ideal for nature lovers.

This beautiful holiday home in the bush has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house is off the grid, with its own solar supply and gas for cooking and hot water. Drinking water is sourced from a well.

Bird watchers will be in heaven and explorers could drive the scenic route over the beautiful mountain pass to the origin of the river known as The Eye, where you can scuba dive or swim. This place is a mountain bikers', nature walkers' and star gazers' paradise. Cultural activities and events are offered year round in and around the Dorp (Town), which is famous for being host to one of South Africa's greatest authors and poets, Herman Charles Bosman.

Everything was perfect - if I could change something I would put in a "donkey" for more hot water, you can't run a bath and the shower is only hot for a while. I will definitely be returning in the summer.
