Situated at Hole in the Wall on the Wild Coast, Jongamanzi is set on a hill just 100 m from the beach and 10 km from Coffee Bay. This is one of the original fisherman's cottages in the area, dating back to the 1940s.
The cottage consists of five bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area and braai facilities.
Offering spectacular views of the ocean, it is common to see schools of dolphins and whales in the bay. Only a five-minute walk to the landmark Hole in the Wall, the area is notable for its dramatic coastline and offers excellent fishing, safe swimming, diving, surfing, cycling and hiking.
The Hole in the Wall at Coffee Bay is a unique structure with a huge detached cliff that has a giant opening carved through its centre by the waves. The local Xhosa call this place, place of thunder. During certain seasons and water conditions, the waves clap is such a fashion that the concussion can be heard throughout the valley.
