Kambro Kind is situated in Sutherland, which is the coldest place in South Africa. You get the warmest welcome by your host Juanita Hutchings; Juanita is the daughter of Jurg and Rita Wagener. The guest house consists of seven en-suite rooms. Each room has a wall heating panel, electric blankets, linen & towels. They are furnished in traditional country style and there is Selected DStv 32" TV's in the bedrooms, a cosy fireplace in the communal lounge.The Tolhuis is an outside, fully sheltered braai area, a fully equipped kitchen area for guests' use. Safe parking is available with five carports.Visit the famous South African Large Telescope or do a scenic route towards the Ouberg Pass on the escarpment and see how the road winds down some 1000 m below.Stargazing with Jurg at Sterland 1km outside of town towards Matjiesfotein (additional cost) Your rate is for accommodation only. You can book breakfast at restaurant across the street from us and there is also 3 other restaurants in town. We will provide contact numbers with reservation.
