Nestled in the foothills of the Karkloof amongst indigenous and pine forests, Karkloof Retreat boasts three fully stocked dams with rainbow, brown trout and bass.

We cater for all ages with other facilities and activities like bird watching, tennis, swimming, hikes, picnics, stargazing and mountain biking. The Karkloof area is unique in that it comprises of untouched forest wilderness where guests will find beautiful wild flowers, small critters, various animals, flora and fauna species. We welcome all guests to enjoy the serene and tranquil environment of the Karkloof Retreat. The Karkloof Valley is a beautiful surrounding that offers a great deal for the senses. Our hope is for our visitors to leave feeling refreshed and relaxed with a desire to return.
