Situated along the main road of this quaint town, Karoo Country Guest House is easily found and positioned for ease of travel. De Aar is an important distribution point for the Karoo and centrally located in the area.

The guest house has three Double Rooms with en-suite showers as well as three Family Rooms that each have one double bed and one single bed. The bedrooms each have a TV with DStv, tea and coffee facilities and a heater for the chilly winter evenings.

The guest house has a bar area where guests can enjoy an afternoon drink and there is a swimming pool to help cool off in the heat of the day. The lounge has a fireplace and is a superb spot to relax in the evenings. Lunch and dinner can be arranged on request so there is no need for you to travel.

De Aar is a main railway junction between Cape Town and Kimberly and has a high train traffic rate. The area is rich in history and the local farms have excellent examples of Khoisan rock engravings. The Garden of Remembrance which honors the fallen British soldiers killed during the Anglo-Boer War is worth a visit.
