We have realised that there are an increasing number of people who would prefer a more rustic camp idea, especially when spending more time in the area.

The Karoo Gariep Tents sleeps four guests in two separate tent compartments. The tent is well furnished with a double bed in the one compartment and two single beds in the other; the tent even features full floor carpeting; with the ablution facilities a mere 30 meters away.

The tent is pitched in the New Holme Guest House garden and has some privacy from the rest of the lodge. You can book meals at New Holme.

Good night's sleep by

Well devised accommodation in a 4-sleeper permanent tent - our grand-daughter (11) was delighted. Worked for all 4 of us, although this was a weekend when 100 riders and their horses were involved in competitive riding, and the noise level was quite high. The ablution failities - just 2 bathrooms, was stressed. However a pleasant overnight stop. My grand-daughter left her doll in the bedding, but PC finally found it, and we arranged for its return to us. Thank You PC.
