Kassiesbaai Rest offers a peaceful holiday in the fisherman's village in Kassiesbaai, Arniston. It consists of one bedroom with a double bed open plan kitchen and lounge area. A separate bathroom with a shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. Full DStv package is available. We provide bedding and towels. Braai facility is also available on the premises. The cottage is within walking distance from the beach.

Peaceful and safe environment. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home and provided excellent service and good company. Residents of Arniston are warm and friendly people. It was not my first visit and probably not my last.

Wilmien has been a wonderful host. The accommodation was indeed cosy and it satisfied every need we had.

The reception was friendly and warm. There was no skottle braai as shown in the pics but rather a cut out drum with sand. Vehicle was parked outside where there were people walking past at night.(made me a bit uneasy).The outside section is under one roof with the establishments restaurant, therefore no privacy if you have to sit outside or have a braai. The upstairs sleeping area is a loft.
The stairs going up is a bit risky. The sleeping area is not ideally suited for adults as you quite often can bump your head on the angled roof

In the first place I'm truly sorry for not putting out the weber braai (skottle braai) but the Braai Drum could also be used with a grid for a barbeque
As discussed your vehicle were quite safe as Kassiesbaai is a small and peaceful community and the neighbours both sides and at the front of our house are family, the boys that walked passed were my husband's brother's children from next door
Lastly, we are in the process closing between the cottage and the coffee shop for privacy
I trust your friend are recovering well after his accident
