Kasungu Inn is a transiting point for travellers to Kasungu National Park and the northern region of Malawi. Visitors to the park find it convenient to stay at Kasungu Inn, make a day's trip to the park and return to base in the evening.

Kasungu Inn comprises 22 bedrooms, a reception area, a 20-seater restaurant, a fully-fledged bar with an adjacent lounge and two other lounges, recreational gardens, a car park for 30 vehicles, and a 300-seater, air-conditioned conference hall with its own parking space.

All bedrooms are the same size with en-suite bathrooms, except two of the bedrooms are in a residential house which shares bathroom facilities and a common lounge. The bedrooms have bathrooms with showers, writing and dressing tables with stools, built-in wardrobes and DStv. Guests can access Internet facilities at the reception.

Kasungu Inn is slightly off the M1 Road linking Lilongwe with Mzuzu - the regional capital for the northern region of Malawi where the all-beautiful Nyika National Park is located. To the west of Kasungu Inn, 35 km away, is Kasungu National Park - home to over 400 species of wildlife including elephant, buffalo, duiker and a variety of birds.
