Kayube Zambezi River House and Bungalows

Kayube Zambezi River House and bungalows is located on a private 90-hectare estate directly on the banks of the Zambezi River. It is only 18 km upstream from the Victoria Falls, opposite the Zimbabwe's Zambezi National Park, and 22 km from Livingstone town.

Only the ground floor of the double story river house is rented out and is completely private, and comes with cleaning staff. There are two bungalows, on stilts, hidden away under riverine trees, connected with a bridge and one slightly bigger bungalow further along the river.The views of the Zambezi are stunning with forever-changing moods and colours. From time-to-time herds of elephants and buffalo's are seen drinking across the river and during the night, hyena, zebra, lion and hippos are often heard.

Experience the romance of staying on the banks of one of the most enchanting rivers in Africa. The house has beautiful rolling lawns with large old trees for ultimate peace and tranquillity. Each bungalow is hidden away from the rest of the accommodation right on the edge of the river.

The house has two air-conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms with toiletries, a comfortable lounge and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a well stocked library corner, ceiling fans, a laundry room, mosquito nets, a large swimming pool and a patio with garden furniture and a braai area.Bungalow one and two are air-conditioned have twin beds and a pull- out couch to turn it into a family room, a fully equipped kitchenette and sitting area, bathroom with toiletries a big deck all along the front with sliding doors with mosquito gauze,bungalow three has a separate bedroom and is slightly bigger in size. All three bungalows have a braai area.There is a fishing and cruise boat for guests use to extra charge.

The crocodile cage plunge pool in the Zambezi, with deck all around, will be in use by January 2014
