KHAYA LA MANZI REVIEWS (65 %) Dee Nhama, South Africa 20 January 2015 It is a great place for a holiday, with a very beautiful bathrooms designs and lovely sea views. The sound of the waves at night is amazing. Not satisfied with the place by Martin Makua 08 December 2017 I was not impressed with the house. Looks can be deceiving. When we arrived we were greeted by a, not so present smell, throughout the house which indicated that the house had not been occupied in a while. Although the linen looked clean and washed we were shocked on the day of departure when the cleaning lady arrived, firstly announced and secondly as she changed the linen we could see blood and semen stains on the beds which were evident that they had been there for quite some time and the owners did not consider getting the beds thoroughly cleaned after every second visit or so. To top it all off, after having breakfast our bread got stolen by monkeys which roam around the neighborhood, I feel all this issues should've been communicated by the owner as I am sure they are well aware of the incidents they have had in the past. If that wasn't enough the toilet downstairs didn't have a proper flushing system and we had to pour water into the toilet after doing the number 1 or 2 which was truly unnecessary as the system could be fixed in a matter of a day or so if you know there are guests coming over. Overall the only good thing about the place is that it's within walking distance to the sea and the lighthouse down the road which makes for very good picture moments. Either than that, the guesthouse itself can do with allot of maintenance and upgrading before someone else can stay in there. Thank you to Tia for the stay, but I definitely won't be coming back to this establishment anytime soon. Very spacious by Frances Martin 21 February 2018 Lots of climbing upstairs and down, but plenty of space and very well equipped.
