Kingsmead Guesthouse

Situated on Kingsmead Road, in the heart of Borrowdale, is the newly built Kingsmead Guesthouse. This owner-run establishment provides luxury accommodation with all facilities one would expect from a deluxe guest house. Kingsmead Guesthouse caters for both the business and leisure traveller seeking a peaceful atmosphere in which to relax.

This guest house comprises of ten tastefully furnished rooms all with en-suite bathrooms and have doors leading out onto the veranda or private courtyards.

Healthy, continental or full English breakfast can be enjoyed each morning in the sunny dining room, or on the veranda overlooking the pool. Light lunches are also available. Evenings can be enjoyed in one of the spacious lounges with a fireplace, or our stylish, contemporary bar with a well-stocked fridge that leads onto the veranda. Our chef will gladly prepare dinner at your request. Alternatively, you can enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants in the near-by vicinity.

We are striving to combine luxurious hospitality and accommodation with an active concern for the environment. Wherever possible, the guest house is environment friendly with solar panels for water heating, energy-saving lighting and appliances, grey water reticulation for garden use, and we are completely self-sufficient for the times when we experience power outages.
