Kipalo Hills

Kipalo Hills is located alongside the boundary of the Tsavo West National Park, on a 12 000-acre Mbulia Conservancy. Kipalo was built with the people and for the local community to benefit from protecting the resident wildlife, especially elephants.

Perched on the side of Mbulia Hills, Kipalo enjoys beautiful views looking out across the conservancy towards Ngulia Hills and Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

There are eight permanent tented rooms to take advantage of the expansive views across the plains. The lovely swimming pool and mess area incorporates the natural look of the rocks, and overlooks a waterhole for wildlife.

Bush walking is the main attraction to Tsavo, where guests can experience the open air and tracking the animals with local expert guides. Day and night game driving is also allowed in this private conservancy, as well as a picnic in the Tsavo West National Park.
