Situated on a working farm just 6 km from Barrydale off the R62, Farm Kleine Windpompie offers unique accommodation options that offer an experience, not just an overnight rest stop. Farm Kleine Windpompie offers guests a choice of lovely self-catering and camping accommodation.

Guests can book the romantic two sleeper, open-plan cottage which is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a gas stove, fridge, as well as the necessary utensils, opening onto a patio with a cosy fireplace and a hot tub overlooking the private boma and mountains. The spacious villa is ideal for up to six people, and offers an enclosed deck with a sit-in pool and a fireplace, enjoying views of the mountains. The bedroom contains a double bed, while a second double bed is available in the living area, and a bunk bed is in the loft. The shared bathroom is fitted with a shower and two toilets. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a stove and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table on the deck.

The glamping tent lodge offers a unique experience for a camping feeling in absolute style. Comfortably furnished for four, the lodge offers two tents furnished with queen-size beds, sharing a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The kitchenette is equipped with a gas stove, fridge and indoor and outdoor braai area. The unit opens onto a deck with a sit-in pool, enjoying views of the surroundings. Guests also have camping options that can accommodate between four to six people, and is perfect for caravans, mobile homes or tents. Each of the sites has a private bathroom with a shower, and a kitchenette with a stove and a fridge. Braai facilities are available at both camps.
Guests need to bring their own equipment. Both stands have a tent with two single beds. Botterboom has two single beds with mattresses, lamplight, two plate gas stove and a fridge. The kitchen is equipped with some camping utillities and kitchen ware.

Cowboys hill has two beds in the tent and also all the other equipment as at Botterboom. This site is on the hill and has an outdoor shower with a donkey to warm the water. Here you can enjoy the feel of adventure and olden days nostalgia. All kitchenware are dictating out of the cowboys days just for the feel of it.

Please note, the accommodation is off the grid with solar panels and gas facilities, and regrettably, amenities such as hairdryers and microwaves are not allowed. There is hot water and basic electricity available that can run the fridges, phones and lights. A variety of walking and cycling trails are located on or in the vicinity of the farm. An affordable Landrover ride over the farm and area is available when booking, and wood is available on request at an extra cost. Pets are allowed at Botterboom and Cowboys hill. Smoking is allowed outside sleeping areas and not inside the units.
