The lodge is just a short drive from Franschhoek, 20 minutes from Stellenbosch and Paarl, 50 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and Cape Town itself, and currently offers 12 luxurious and comfortable rooms, some of which are thatch. Four of the rooms face natural gardens alongside the pool and the rest are just below a small stream looking onto the farm's vineyards.
Klein Waterval's relaxed farm atmosphere provides an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding attractions and landmarks whilst offering much to do on the farm itself. Visit the Cape's most celebrated wine farms, historical villages, popular restaurants and scenic mountain passes. Swimming and merely relaxing around the pool area or alongside the riverlette after an exhilarating day, enjoying a glass of superb wine on the verandah and watching the sun set is what we often recommend to our guests.
