Situated on the slopes of the Makhonjwa Mountians, overlooking the town of Barberton and the De Kaap Valley, you will find the beautiful 1890's, Victorian-style Kloofhuis Guest House.
This lovely guest house offers three lovely en-suite, non-smoking rooms, furnished with double, single or twin beds. The en-suite bathrooms each contain a a shower or bath. Each room is equipped with a TV and Internet access is available, as well as tea and coffee facilities. Linen and towels are supplied. All the rooms enjoy lovely views of either the mountain, city or garden.
A continental breakfast is served and lunch packs and dinner are available on request. Secure, off-street parking is available, as well as braai facilities.
Kloofhuis is ideally situated to explore the town's rich historical heritage and tranquil natural surroundings; it is within walking distance of the centre of town and the 'Heritage Walk', which takes you to tourist attractions such as the Belhaven Museum, Fernlea and Stopforth House, Jock of the Bushveld Monument as well as the Block House which was used during the South African war by the British troops. Various other activities, from birdwatching to hiking and biking, can also be enjoyed in the area.
