Kloofsig Holiday Cottages is situated on the outskirts of Graskop, just off the main road. Situated in a large garden are five fully equipped cottages suitable for families.

The five cottages each sleep four people and are fully furnished. The cottages comprise two bedrooms, one bathroom and an open-plan living area with an extra bed for additional sleeping space. The interior has a simplistic design with a fireplace and TV in the living room. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge-freezer, and all pots, pans, cutlery and crockery are provided for preparing meals.

From the living room step out onto a covered patio with a portable braai, table and chairs. The cottages are set in a lush garden with azalea bushes and trees.

Had all the essentials needed for the night. The rooms, toilet and appliances were very clean. Well worth the money.


Kloofsig - Review by

It was a wonderful experience at Kloofsig. The house is well maintained and worth the money.

It is very close to most of the tourist attraction places, not to forget, exactly opposite to the Big Swing...





The cottage that was allocated to us was beautiful, clean and had a splendid garden with trees and flowers. You get a feeling that you are still at home and not hundrends of kilometres away.

The place is situated not far from all the areas of interests and shops, but you still have to go out to get info on where those places of interests are, as the info is not readily available from Kloofsig. 

There should have been daily service, as explained to us when we booked in, but the cleaning lady only came in twice. She came in on Wednesday and Friday but on both occassions she never changed linen or supplied us with clean towels.

Something should also be done with the two kitchen windows that have no curtains or blinds on them.



Basic self-catering holiday home by

Friendly owner/manager, basic equipment in kitchen in order and spacious house with shower and bath, quiet; clean and daily cleaned/serviced. With alarm (but we do not know whether it works), veranda/terrace, covered parking place. No luxury. A disappoimtemt was the lack of WiFi (in contrast to what was advertised) and the plastic outdoor chairs at the dining table. Esp. without the WiFi it is a little to expensive. The location is okay and it is practical to get the remonte key to the main gate.

Loved our stay at Kloofsig, the unit was very spacious! Its a gem we will definitely stay here again.
