Situated under ancient oaks and flanked by vineyards and Simonsberg Mountain, the guest house offers a unique combination of modern comfort and old-world charm.

The house comprises eight tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms with crisp white linen and all the required amenities. The patio rooms have a private verandah facing the lawn and garden, while the attic rooms have a balcony with superb mountain views. There are also two luxury cottages for those who wish to stay for longer periods.

The Van Niekerk family are fourth generation owners and invite you to enjoy al fresco breakfasts, vineyard walks, tennis, summer pool lunches, and winter log fires. Also, during the harvest you are welcome to visit the wine cellar at the end of the garden and experience the sounds, tastes, and aromas of award-winning wines in the making.

Knorhoek is ideally situated 10 minutes from historic Stellenbosch, 40 minutes from Cape Town International Airport, and 50 minutes from the Cape of Good Hope, Table Mountain, and the V&A Waterfront. There are also 10 top golf courses all within 30 minutes from the guest house. The owners are golfers themselves and can advise and book tee-times, having played most of the courses in the Western Cape.

Towerbosch is the enchanting magical venue with eclectic fairytale décor and sumptuous meals, ideal for a dream wedding or memorable function. On Saturdays and Sundays, if there is no function, a traditional South African Asado-style braai is served, ideal for meat-lovers and families with children.

Knorhoek Wines and the newer easy-drinking, high quality Two Cubs range boast several local and international awards. Wine tasting is enjoyed at leisure, and private cellar tours with the wine-maker are available by appointment.
