We are a lodge for backpackers, we are located on the banks of the Crocodile River with spectacular views of the Kruger National Park.

Come and stay with us and enjoy a relaxed environment with open-plan living areas. Guests can cool down in the swimming pool and wrap-up the day with a delicious braai while listening to the sounds of Africa.

We are a short five minutes' drive from the Kruger National Park's Crocodile Bridge Gate and five minutes from the Lebombo Border Post to Mozambique. The Mananga Border Post to Swaziland is only 45 minutes away.

There is a friendly, open atmosphere at the lodge, where helpful staff will cater to your every need. Our knowledgeable staff members will gladly provide up-to-date travel information and can arrange a variety of activities, trips and tours for your enjoyment.

The swimming pool must be cleaned.it is very dirty.

Mediocrity by

Just a little but of cleaning up of junk laying around goes a long way. Washing lines at throat height and wooden planks laying about when you need to go to the toilet at night seems quite hazardous. Especially if the uneven path is not very well lit. The place is not very neat at all. We did not venture into the kitchen.... It doesn't matter how cheap the accommodation is, basic tidiness is expected.

Big NO by

We were very disappointed in Krugerview Backpackers. Was there 3y ago and the place really went down hill. The yard and the house are in need of a clean up. Swimmingpool look more like a frog pond. No decent braai facilities and on the deck area there's only a few chairs and one table. The room we slept in was clean and the bedding old but clean. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but we only stayed for 2.

We did not enjoy our stay. So much so that the further 2 nights we booked directly we canceled and booked at an establishment close by.
