Wonderful by

Wonderful location and friendly and attentive owners. Location is fantastic, right on the lagoon. Room was clean and well serviced. The only drawback was the traffic noise from large salt trucks passing all day. Thankfully they did not operate at night!

Most Amazing Weekend by

It was my first time in Namibia, and after having spent two weeks in Windhoek, went to the Coast , Walvis Bay.  My stay was booked at Lagoon Loge, beautfil place facing the lagoon, nice and quiet.  Arrived at the airport, and the shuttle arrangements were made by Helene (owner of the Lagoon Loge), the Driver was waiting for me. Every morning having to wake up , sit by the balcony and seeing several kinds of bird species flying around around, and a lot of flamingoes was so wonderful.  The lodge, upon my arrival, most welcomed by the Owners and they made me feel at home. Their lodge staff as well were most welcoming.  Everything on point, and Helene was available to tell me which places I could go to for dinner, safety of the place and most people taking walks along the lagoon.  Which I did twice and walked up to a Restaurant called The Raft.  I took a boat cruise trip and Dunes Tour, which was another experience for me. The entire weekend spent at the Lagoon loge I really enjoyed.  The breakfast served, everything fresh and prepared there.  I  more than felt at home.    Thank you to both Helene and her husband for making my stay at Lagoon Loge great, and I will definitely recommend it to other people that I know who would want to plan on traveling to Walvis Bay.
