Lamu House

Lamu House is a completely renovated Swahili-style house which has been lovingly furnished and fitted with all the necessary facilities to ensure a fantastic night's rest.

The unit is a three-bedroom house set over three floors in a walled garden with a large swimming pool. The two double bedrooms come with overhead fans, mosquito nets, air-conditioning and en-suite shower rooms. The remaining twin room has an overhead fan, mosquito net and air-conditioning; a separate bathroom serves this bedroom.

The top floor contains a bar area with a TV and 360 degree views across the Watamu area. Downstairs the dining room leads out onto the sun terrace which overlooks the swimming pool. Other features include a Jacuzzi, fully equipped kitchen for self-catering and a garage.

Access to the beach is via the public beach access road alongside Turtle Bay Hotel. The house is fully staffed including an excellent cook. There is a backup generator and security is provided by a night askari and G4S security buttons.
