The name "Lapeng" is derived from the Northern Sotho language and the meaning is "Home", depicting exactly what Management and Staff strive to do; to make you feel at home.
Set on manicured grounds, Lapeng is neatly tucked away between the mountains in a beautiful and tranquil environment close to Burgersfort and Steelpoort, Limpopo. It is a real refuge from the busy mining town that is Burgersfort. Often referred to as an Oasis by our guests, Lapeng offers you the peacefulness and tranquility that you need at the end of the day.
Lapeng boasts 28 stylish and luxurious rooms, all complete with en-suite bathrooms and private terraces to ensure maximum privacy and peacefulness.
Some of the facilities we have on the premises are a 20 m swimming pool, a fully functional gym, a beautiful A la Carte Restaurant, a well-stocked bar, a boma, conference facilities, and complimentary Wi-Fi for all our guests.
The Wi-Fi is available in all public areas and in certain rooms. If you would like to have Wi-Fi in your room, please specify this in your request.
Our conference facilities include a conference room that can accommodate up to 300 people, and a meeting room for smaller groups. We have conference packages that include motorized screens, a state of the art surround sound system, Wi-Fi access, and other conferencing equipment.
The Lodge is located on a game farm and boasts a wide array of game that can often be seen around the rooms and restaurant. Lapeng is also home to a wide array of bird life, making it an ideal destination for birdwatchers.
