Laragai House

Laragai sits on the edge of a plateau on Borana Ranch overlooking the Northern Frontier to the north and Lewa Downs to the east, whilst the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Kenya lie to the south. It is the ultimate home from home, designed for groups of friends or families who want to get away from it all.

Opulent interiors invite fun and relaxation, whilst the grounds have a spectacular heated pool, tennis court and garden games such as croquet and bowls. Activities include adventurous walks and drives to seek out Borana's wildlife, or horse rides around the extensive landscapes that characterize this area of Kenya. Families with children especially enjoy going down to the waterfalls with a picnic or visiting the local community projects in Borana's neighbouring villages. Laragai makes an ideal party house for anniversaries or birthdays.

Only available on an exclusive basis, Laragai can sleep 12 adults and four children in six large double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and two children's rooms with a shared bathroom. The unusually large drawing room has open fireplaces at both ends and plenty of space for large groups. Dinner is usually enjoyed in the large separate dining room, whilst breakfast and lunch are served on an elevated deck with panoramic views, or in the cool shade of the pool house.
