Lodgings were clean, comfortable, hospitable and accessible. The host and hostess, Johan and Lorrein Katzke were always ready with a kind word, a recommendation and helpful hint/tip to ensure our stay wad even more pleasant. Will definitely make use of their hospitality in future. It felt like home & I will always stay at Lavender Laine in future. The morning sea view and Lorraine's hospitality by Davidzo Mashiri 08 February 2018 I cannot rave about this place enough!! Lorraine has the most beautiful home but what's even more striking is her genuine love for people. It was the little things that impressed me the most; like remembering all 6 of our names and greeting us by name every morning. She made it feel like we were family who were visiting. And Chris - he is a Godsend gem! He catered to our every need.
Back to the house itself; it was clean, warm and the view every morning and evening was breathtaking. I especially loved that it was a walking distance from the beach and 5 minutes' drive to some nice restaurants. The water restrictions though meant 2 minute showers and a drained pool. That, of course, was okay because it meant more time on the beautiful beach.
Thank you Lorraine for the wonderful stay and for making my mom's birthday extra special. I will recommend you and your gorgeous home 1000 times over.
