Set in Meru National Park on the banks of Murera River, Leopard Rock Lodge offers a sweeping view without fences to discover the wild animals as close as possible. Situated along the equator, the Meru National Park features a wild variety of landscapes and habitats. The forests, swamps and savannahs are pierced by perennial rivers and are home to a wide species of animals, including black and white rhino, elephant, leopard, lion, giraffe and dik dik among others.
The lodge is only a one and a half hour flight from Nairobi. Our spacious and individually styled cottages are a treasure and the secluded cottages have a grandiose terrace which offers panoramic views overlooking the bush and river and bird life. The cottages are decorated in contemporary African design, complete with luxury furnishings, genuine African artefacts, wooden finishes and creative use of colours, textures and light. An en-suite bathroom promises the luxury of a deep warm bath, and a refreshing shower awaits.
Warm firelight welcomes you to the boma in front of the waterhole where you can relax and enjoy watching animals such as hippo and gerenuks while enjoying an aperitif with snacks. The open-air dining room welcomes you with world-class cuisine and a selection of wines from our cellar. Linger over a leisurely meal in an intimate atmosphere.
