Situated near the picturesque Tzaneen in the Limpopo Province, Letaba River Lodge is an oasis of peace and tranquility. It is situated on the Broederstroom Drift Road, just a few minutes' drive from Tzaneen. Letaba River Lodge is the ideal choice for honeymooners or the holiday travellers.

The lodge offers three Self-catering Units, 25 Double Rooms and a Boma Area that is hostel-style with 50 bunk beds. Breakfast is served in the warm restaurant, surrounded with the wildlife atmosphere, and dinner is offered exclusively for our overnight guests. The ladies bar is the place to meet friends or enjoy a great variety of sport events on the big screen.

We provide game drives on request and can organize a romantic sunset cruise on the river, while enjoying a cocktail and watching the beautiful sunsets. The curio and craft shops in the area have a fine collection of arts and crafts from local artists and craftsmen.

Our area is also known as the Valley of the Elephants, which makes it the ideal stop for some relaxation. Beautiful and scenic hikes and walking trails can be followed up into the game farm, where a wide variety of game can be found. Guests can go fishing in the river which runs through the lodge or in three smaller dams on the farm.

Nice place - would like to stay there again, but won't be interested if the room is not cleaned.

Ons honeymoon verblyf by

Ons het 2 nagte hier oor geslaap en die kamer was rerig 'n plesier om in te bly. Dit is baie netjies in gerig en toegerus. Ons het darm nie so warm gekry nie maar lugreeling sal n groot verskil maak aan die kamers. ons kom weer, ons wil nog die vlot uittoets!

Our stay was okish. Bed was good. Room and bathroom a bit dusty.
Person at front desk not good. On his phone and not very friendly. 
Dinner was a dry Vienna and a few chips on a small plate. No garnish  what so ever. 
All the waiters had limited English. Kettle in room was disgusting. Had to clean it before we used it. 
Will definitely not stay at the lodge again or recommend it to anyone.
No air-conditioning in the room. We couldn't sleep it was to hot and loads of mosquitoes.

We were informed its a self catering facility but there's no pots,no plates,no cutlery nothing.the reception guy was very unfriendly and also gave negative comments about the place.but the animal seeing was amazing.it was a very nice experience to see all those animals

Such a stunning little hide away place. Rooms is nice and spacious. The quietness and the sounds of the lions and tigers makes it a very relaxing atmosphere. Definitely will return and recommend them to other friends.
