Lindela House was built in 1902 and is an old Victorian-style home with Oregon pine floors and high ceilings. It is situated in the heart of East Griqualand, Kokstad.
The friendly, home-from-home environment welcomes all. This exquisite restored home was transformed into a bed and breakfast in 2007. We offer seven comfortably furnished en-suite rooms with either twin beds or double beds. All the rooms are equipped with a TV and DStv, tea and coffee facilities, electric blankets, heaters and fans in the summer.
The area is well-known for its various dams and rivers that offer plenty opportunity for trout fishing, and there are no less than three reserves; Wilfred Bauer, Mount Currie with beautiful picnic sites, and the Mountain Lake Nature Reserve, a small reserve sprinkled with small paths that offer delightful walks as well as over 220 species of birds and cattle tracks. Crystal Dam offers angling and boating opportunities. The Crystal Spring Dam is nurtured by the pure water of Crystal Spring, the main source of Kokstad's water supply.
