Situated on the edge of a vast crater formed millions of years ago when a meteorite entered the earth's atmosphere, Loodswaai Game Ranch, offers visitors four unique biospheres. The expanse of the rich savannah plain is the preferred abode of the gentle springbok. They graze and frolic at leisure whilst mischievous zebra trot single file past on their way to one of the watering holes.
Following the movement of the eland the visitor is drawn towards the great topographical divide formed by the impact of the meteorite in the dawn of time. Here the nooks and crannies of the rocky outcrops nurture the shy, nimble footed klipspringer. In this sculpted, dramatic natural divide Leopard is sometimes spotted to the distorted cacophony and demure symphonic overtures of raucous roaming baboon troupes.
Travelling onwards a vast vista unfurls and unfolds as the visitors' eyes and senses feast on the lush bushveld tapestry of thorn trees and stalwart Tambotie sentinels far down below. With the dexterity of the patient tortoise the game drive vehicle will meander between elegant giraffe dutifully topping thorn tree crowns whilst the more amorous couples can be seen necking and playfully humping their hind quarters.
