Lowestoffe Country Lodge epitomising comfortable farm accommodation at its best. Only 28 km from Hogsback, Trout Lodge is privately situated, with expansive views of the surrounding pastures and mountains.

Trout Lodge has an open-plan living area with a free-standing fireplace for cosy winter evenings, four bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, a stove and a fridge and freezer. There are braai facility, guests would need to bring brickettes as the wood supplied is not suitable.

This attractive, up-market lodge was built in 1990. It overlooks the main trout dam and is therefore a favourite amongst those keen on fly fishing. It is also within walking distance of the stables from which horse trail rides are conducted.

Trout Lodge is child friendly, peaceful, private and 5 minutes away from the Lowestoffe Dam. We highly recommend Trout Lodge. Our stay was absolutely wonderful and we will most definitely be back.

My highlight was when my kids thanked us for taking them there. I never thought they will appreciate nature esp. with no TV and I made sure no cellphones. They were sad to leave and yes, it was way too short. We needed that bonding time. Thank you for such a peaceful, beautiful heaven on earth.
