Lungi's Township B&B is set in the township, Khayelitsha, in Cape Town. It offers guests a unique experience of the family life and culture of a South African township.

There are three rooms in this bed and breakfast. Each one of the rooms can accommodate up to two guests. Two of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and one room shares a bathroom. The rooms are well-appointed and include fresh linen and towels. During the evenings men from the neighbourhood committee makes sure the bed and breakfast's area is secure and safe.



Guests can enjoy guided walks which include a visit to a woman who brews traditional Xhosa beer, a shebeen, a local café, a local church, and a traditional healer known as a sangoma.

Dit was 'n wonderlike ervaaring en ek is van meening dat elke Suid Afrikaner dit ten minste een keer in sy lewe moet ervaar. Ek is van meening dit is hoe ons die mure tussen ons gaan afbreek en ervaar daar is ook mense wat 'n eerlike en goeie bestaan in ander kulture wil maak. Ek het geen oomblik onveilig gevoel nie en Lungi is so 'n nederige mens. Haar optrede teenoor haar gaste is eenvoudig maar tog profesioneel ook.
